hello 2007

i guess its time for an entry.
i planned to write one to end off the 2006 year.
but once again, i just never made time to do it.


so here goes.
late as it is, the value is no less belittled.
its a busy year.
accentuated by highlights and marred by disasters,
natural and man-made alike.


i cannot of course diminish the great fun i've had over the past year
including times in UK and Redang
with friends and family.
and its not just trips that retains a memory in this thick head of mine.
random moments in class with tablemates where we laughed our butts off
even when things weren't bright and shining.
or even during lessons when its all quiet,
not because we're attentively listening to the teachers
but busy doing things other than we're supposed to
i.e. online shopping, maggie market-ing, you tube-ing
and the what-nots that we do.

and of course, not forgetting outings with other pals.
although we were supposed to be busy studying for the can't-be-mentioned event
(which we eventually got down to),
we still managed to get down to going out and having fun.
[but we've still to go ice-skating. must we wait for tcher fie to have finish school?]


but lets not forget,
we are all attracted to beauty
but who of us can look into the face of the ugly and face up to it?
i'm talking here about the mishaps, disappointments and what-nots we've had.
have we learnt from experience and not continue to burn from it?
we can't of course forget those heartbreaks
but lets just...
God knows. lets just make new mistakes and be done with the old.


to end off on a better note.
a big thanks to friends other than those from school.
those who have some how made my days when no hope of it seemed possible.



so all i've got to say is,
thanks friends for making 2006 a great year.
now who wants to make 2007 better?
