i absolutely enjoyed myself today.
didn't regret signing up for the program.
i think what they're doing to help the kids are really cool.
maybe i should do that.
pay may be minimal. but at least life would be fulfilling.
anyway. today was the 1st part of the 2-day training for the camp during the March holidays.
challenges are pretty simple. but can be quite stimulating if you think about it.
i mean if the objectives are really met, you would teach them skills they'll only be forced to learn 10 years from now. worth it, don't you think?
i have to admit. in the beginning, i thought i had a pretty lame group. boy, was i wrong. they turned out to be pretty cool. fun people to hang out with. including the rangers themselves. pretty sporting. and when we joined another team for the last activity. was simply a riot. all hell break loose. ok. not really. its just that we all became kids again. enjoyed and took fun out of simple games. not cheap thrill. real fun.
yesterday was the 'love concert' in school. i have to admit the exitement just fizzled out for me towards the end. sure some of the bands were great and played some really cool tunes. i guess not having someone special to share it with at that point of time just was a factor for me. when crazy for a little while. apparently the party poopers were a group of cresent girls. just set up a domino of 'sian-ness'. pardon the language.
exhaustion have been piling up over the week. i have to get over it. get used to this tougher lifestyle. especially if i want to achieve some of the objectives i set out for myself at the beginning of this year. some things are going well, other not so. i have to get my act together and really start producing results i'm capable of. in all aspects. and, i need to step up to the plate. assume responsibility since no one else will. hopefully that works out well too.
ok. for assembly this week. we had some form of motivation talk. well some parts were pretty motivating but i just doubt it can sustain throughout the entire course of year. yet i found some motivation instead. in the form of television. not what you're thinking. i was watching one of those shows no one else have heard before. wow. that speech was fantastic. i wish i didn't delete that scene. the words just came and struck straight to the heart. nothing beats something that you can relate to. man, if i had someone like that in my life, i'd be so motivated. well, i'm learning. who says television is a vice. it's been more educational to me than any one entire person in my life has been. ok. maybe that statement was a little strong. there are some people i've met who have simply changed my life, even after meeting them for only 5 minutes. that, is impact. but coming back to the point of television, i could never live without it. because it brings me to another world. a world where only your imagination is the limit, or in my case, is developed further.
i need to see commitment. there hasn't been much change. please let there be.
